Synapse @ Cobalt Sun
At Cobalt Sun, light artist Lynn Augstein's Sausalito Studio presented many amazing music and other aristic events. Musically, the Synapse Electronic Arts Series brought in Steve Roach, Robert Rich, Michael Griffith, Estara, Lynn's installations, Somma, Hari Das, Tropozone and many others, curated by Dwight Loop and presented by Lynn Augstein.
Cobalt Sun also hosted art exhibits by Nouriman from Tehran, Lama Pema from Bhuton....and so many gatherings to numerous to mention...spontaneous gatherings of music, light, video, art....all in the spirit of the collective...the expansion of space, both internal and external. Tropozone
Tropozone live concert photos taken during two long sets of experimentations, poetry, trance groove, color draped dream space.....all in four evenings, as part of the Synapse Electronic Arts Series 2005-2006 held at Cobalt Sun. Lynn Augstein provided staging, lighting, video design, and hosting..... Kosho contributed video in 2006 at the Sausalito, CA studio.
Tropozone: Dwight Loop, Scott Railsback, Ray Regan, Lee Howard, Sara Stara, Justin Parker, Arnold Bodmer. Two concerts in two years at Synapse. Long time friends from the anient family of man....creating and holding space....in the immersive cafe at Cobalt Sun...the most creative space in the Bay Area for light and sound....
